Whilst everything you say around the captaincy sounds solid, are we really expecting a 21yr old with no senior Eng experience, to come straight in as VC? The courage of your conviction makes me think that this has happened before then, did Knight come straight in as VC? Thought Tammy did a bang up job, if NSB is back for ODIs (personally I do not think she will be), Tammy should be given the VC on a permanent basis (until Scrivs is more acclimatised to Senior internationals at least).
The England A series of ODI and T20 completed on 7/7 against a strong NZ A team.
Be interested in any observations on these 6 matches (maybe next Episode)
I’m not going to name her (for fear of putting the “mockers” on her) but one England ‘A’ player, new to the ‘A’ team this season, seemed to have a stellar series with the bat (and perhaps, even more incredible, given she is England qualified, she is a left hander !)
I noted that in at least one match England ‘A’ had 4 left handers in their top six !!

It would be pretty unusual, and I accept that I’m a little bit of a voice in the wilderness on this; but do I think GS is a special case.
