    • I think the main thing here is that putting a PDF on your web site doesn’t make it legal! In particular the English courts are under no obligation whatsoever to recognise the distinctions made by the ICC between full and associate memberships.

      But also note the repeated use of the phrase “Subject to the overriding discretion of the ECB” here. This isn’t even a binding document – it is just a guideline and the final decision (“overriding discretion”) still belongs to the ECB.

  1. Re Heather….you may/may not know that she was playing in a celebrity golf event, last Wednesday, as part of the build up to the Solheim Cup, played over the weekend. When HK announced her retirement, she did mention Solheim in her plans, which suggests that she was never going to play in the final rounds of Metro Bank.

    Had to laugh @the Ireland/ Scotland debate..(a right old mess)& yourreference to Kirstie!
