It’s been very busy in the CE cup! Thunder are actually doing quite well now following their 2 wins recently. Blaze have been absolutely brilliant so far and I’m starting to wonder who could beat them, Friday’s game against 2nd placed Diamonds should be a cracker.
In terms of Storm’s woes, some of their historical success was built on players like Lizelle Lee and Stafanie Taylor. Since they left after the KSL era, I think it started to go more wrong when Storm lost some of their best bowlers like Shrubsole, Freya Davies, and subsequently Fi Morris – since then the bowling has seemed to concede more runs and the batting hasn’t quite got the power to make up for it.
