  1. The answer to your weather question is yes there are more showers in the day time, especially in summer. This is because showers are often triggered by heat and the sun is hotter during the day (than it is during the evening) thus pumping more energy into the atmosphere. As evening approaches that energy reduces. Obviously a full blown weather front and its rain can hit the day and the evening equally.
