Thanks for another good episode guys. About the England A series. The first game was mostly just about an unbelievable innings from Georgia Voll, who let’s face it, belongs in the full Aussie side and has done for a while. In the 2nd game, there were some OK performances from England players but the XI selected is a bit weaker than the T20 side in my opinion, and not having GS as captain makes a difference too. Middle order looks susceptible to a collapse and it happened that way.
About the Lottie appointment, I’m also glad that county performances will bear more weight now. Hopefully there will be fewer weeks locked away in Loughborough behind closed doors doing training and using that for selection. I do sort of wonder what had been going on there over the last few years. Hard to believe it was better for the players than just playing for their franchises.
Not sure….did Brenda McCullum go through ‘the process’ before he was appointed England men’s whiteball coach, as well as red ball….or was that a different situation?(I don’t think it is)
After watching your video and listening to the Claire Connor interview on TMS, I have a question. Given that she appears to have changed her mind, how did Connor not know about the problems with the team culture? Is that not part of her job? Or was she getting inaccurate information from someone else?

I suspect she didn’t know because she was out of the loop. Syd
