England’s “England v England” training camp in South Africa wrapped-up today with Team Brittin grabbing a 3 wicket win to take the series 3-2 versus Team Heyhoe Flint*.

[*Note To Everyone: there is no hyphen in “Heyhoe Flint”!]

Having watched every game, in glorious technicolour on The YouTubez, here’s 11 things we learned:

  1. Nothing
  2. Zilch
  3. Nada
  4. Diddly-squat
  5. Zip
  6. Aught
  7. Humbug
  8. Trifle
  9. Fudge
  10. Bakewell Tart
  11. SunRisers Leeds probably overpaid for Dani Gibson

  1. very little glory all round, inconsistent performances from all so direction not clear…

openers, sooo many pairings tried and no conlusions, ditto bowling, Amy still has it with gloves

dunks spose for 100, signs from DWH/capsey, ditto bouch but awful swipes too, kemp bowling is just above enid/wiff bowling, smith continues to press, lauren squared some signs, not wongy (batter brain fart gifted wickets today) mahika almost better with bat, knight still scores faster than it feels like live, TCC (top cat) shows great signs, less from scriv….

no signs for anyone pressing for NSB captains band also given so many opportunties – captaincy by committtee alive and well!

  2. For once, I can only agree!

    I was even nervous during Dunkley’s 100!🤣

Doubt whether India/ Australia/NZ are quaking in their boots.

Can only hope they perform better, when it really matters, starting with our domestic season.
