Is there a danger that the unofficial 50 over competitions could create the haves and have nots? If your county can’t afford to pay their own way and enter one of these, will the players find it harder to get into regional teams?

Following on from Martin’s point, the ECB (in my opinion) should have disbanded t20 and kept the 50 over competitions, giving more opportunity to more players. If a player is out of age group cricket but haven’t obtained a regional place but wish to keep playing cricket, the t20 format may not be the best option. If they are a middle/bottom order batsman and not one of the top 6 bowlers in the senior game, they often give up their whole day to field !!! With often, limited women’s club cricket (outside London), how can they improve/maintain their cricket when they don’t get an opportunity to bat or bowl and how long will it be before they only play Men’s cricket or give-up totally ? This cannot be good for Women’s cricket ?
