This week:
- Afghanistan women in exile ask for help from ICC – will they get it?
- England v NZ – Returns to form for Capsey, Bell & Kemp
- Would this NZ team beat NZ from 2018?
- Why Hollie Armitage signing for Durham is good news for everyone! (Except Yorkshire!)
“more spineless misogyny from a group of men who only care about money and power” (quote from Raf)
The fact that this statement can equally be applied to both the Afghanistan government and the ICC is a damning indictment of the ICC.
As I’ve stated before on here, rainbow promotions (eg. part of the boundary rope in the case of yesterday’s match) are a sport-washing exercise; a distraction used to mask the really that cricket is discriminatory and it will continue to be until it treats Afghanistan female cricketers the same as Afghanistan male cricketers.
